It began naturally, as all good things do...
We met every week, and every week was a little bit different. Amy, Rena, and I would log into Zoom from three separate time zones, preparing only for pure presence with one another as we shared the sort of tender stuff that’s best untangled with people you trust — everything from delicate grief, self-doubt, and seemingly unsolvable conundrums to shiny new ideas and proud accomplishments in our personal and professional lives.
Our conversations felt like alchemy. We laughed, cried, WOWed, and reflected in intimate collaboration, and we left changed. Lighter and clearer. Seen and celebrated. Open to possibility. Coaxed towards growth.
And we’d go, Whew, we needed this.
It worked so well — and so intuitively, sans forcing — that we thought, Other people probably need this, too. Now, we’re ready to welcome a few more special someones into our irreverent and sacred community.
Come riff with us!
Maybe you need a safe sounding board. You’re full of big ideas, and you’re craving a sacred space to share them — and shape them — out loud.
Maybe you’ve hit an impasse, whether at work or in the work of being human. The block could be fear, or confusion, or thorough exhaustion that matches the scale of the upheaval we’ve all endured in distinct ways this year. Maybe some extra sets of eyes and ears could help you find your right way forward.
Maybe you want a support squad. A mirror to reflect your truth back to you. Someone to spot your brilliance, name it, and nudge you towards it.
Join me in The Riff Space:
An Irreverent and Sacred Community of Practice.
In this intimate group program for coaches and other heart-centered, service-oriented folks, we help each other get unstuck and rerooted in clarity, connection, and ease.
Every twice-monthly Zoom call is cozy. We laugh, listen, and contribute in equal measure. We always walk away altered by a broad range of perspectives, thanks to the profound alchemy of collaborative conversation.
I’m launching The Riff Space with the two dear friends, colleagues, and fellow tell-it-like-it-is-ers I’ve mentioned above: Amy Steindler and Rena Rachar. Together, we represent a mix of ages and stages in the coaching career path. We nerd out on everything from neuroscience and internal family systems to astrology and spirituality. We all believe firmly in the irreverent and the sacred, and we are committed to integrity, heart, and humor in everything we do.
Meet the team.
Amy is a professional perspective shifter, EQ coach, and creator of radically new experiential leadership workshops and retreats. She’s known for cutting straight to the heart of the issues that hold you back, and for being a safe haven to address fears, reframe thinking, and make tough decisions with confidence.
Rena is a certified Emotional Intelligence coach whose love of learning, commitment to telling the truth, passion to help people reach their full potential, and ability to find humour in even the most painful of circumstances enables her to coach her clients with skill, honesty, energy, and compassion.
I’m a narrative coach and astrologer, working to help folks articulate and shape their own heart-rooted narratives about identity, creativity, and purpose. My central aim is to advocate for deeper inquiry, integrity, equity, and liberation on individual, communal, and systemic scales.

WHO IT’S FOR:
The Riff Space is limited to 9 total participants, so it’s small enough that no one gets swallowed by an overcrowded Zoom screen and everyone gets plenty of personalized attention. You’ll get to experience the tools and perspectives of all three coaches — Amy, Rena, and me — and when we move into breakout rooms, you’ll be facilitated and coached by a different one of us each time, with just two other participants.
We welcome fellow coaches and other creative entrepreneurs and service professionals from anywhere in the world. And we’re committed to bringing the broadest range of perspectives to the group, with the intentional inclusion of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and economically disadvantaged participants.
WHEN (& HOW) IT HAPPENS:
Our 4-month pilot of The Riff Space begins in January 2022. Each month, we’ll host two Zoom calls.
The first monthly call will be centered on a specific learning theme. Amy, Rena, and I will start the riff with our perspectives on the topic before we break out into small groups for more conversation. The second call of the month will be an Open Riff, for you and other participants to bring your current challenges, projects-in-progress, questions, and other curiosities to the group. The three of us will facilitate and/or coach, based on what you want from the Riff Space that day.
The 4-month pilot program will launch for $175 a month (a $700 investment). We’ll be asking pilot participants for detailed feedback and publishable reviews.
All fees come with a satisfaction guarantee. If your expectations aren’t met or exceeded by the halfway point, your investment will be refunded in full.
We believe in paying it forward. $25 of your monthly fee goes toward sponsoring a scholarship for someone whose economic situation shouldn’t stand in the way of their learning, growth, and income potential. If you’d like to have a bigger impact, you can add to your monthly payment and 100% of that additional amount will go toward funding scholarships.
If you’re interested, or at least a little bit curious…
We’re hosting two free informational calls on January 5. Come riff with us and see what it’s like. If you find it useful, maybe one of our remaining spots in the pilot program is yours!
